I love your enthusiasm about living in Sydney. I started reading your blog earlier this year (from Texas) when we first heard that we "might" be moving to Australia--yeah right.... Today, I went on The Chocolate Ride, starting in Petersham. Tomorrow, I may do the Ride Like a Pirate (I'll remove one of the lenses on my bike sunglasses to emulate an eyepatch).
